Why France is so awesome.

No, it is not just because France is some distant country far far far away nor is it because it has often been dramatized in books and film that France is so awesome. France is just awesome on its own, Malaysia pales in comparison. (Yes all those ads about Malaysia being unique and with awesome food can just go kick themselves down the train).

My list on why France is awesome!

1) It is so comfortable to WALK everywhere because it is not blistering hot or humid.

2) The metro is so damn efficient, 5 min tops I had to wait. Lets not compare to the KTM shall we. (: Plus the metro has like a million different lines while Malaysia's one looks like a child's train set.

3) The sights are truly magnificent. From the Eiffel to the Hotel des Invalides to everything that is old yet retains its charm. What does Malaysia have? A stinking dick shaped pair of towers.

4) Every restaurant serves excellent food. From duck confit to egg with duck cracklings to cassoulet to croque monsieur to fresh pizza from the market to black hooved pig ham blabla.

5) Every supermarket is a pleasure to go to. Think Monoprix, Lafayette, Casino etc. Even the Ptit Casinos are awesome. Everything is delicious its like as though everything went through the strictest of tests before being allowed to be on the shelves.

6) There are DOGS everywhere. Yay, love that. Cute dogs too! Dogs in France are so much furrier and friendlier and obedient. Unleashed, they just follow their owners.

7) French people are so FRIENDLY. I made random conversations with not just 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 (if I got them right) people. From old men to middle aged women to couples etc. Even the students were so friendly!!!!

8) The towns are so tranquil and peaceful (eg: Toulouse/Foix) and it just makes you wanna retire there someday. I like the balance of slowness in smaller towns and the fast in bigger towns like Paris.

9) The French countryside is truly countryside. Farms, open spaces, cows, sheep. Not ladang kelapa sawits all the way. :/

10) France makes you miss her like crazy once you've returned to your really crappy world.
