Japan

My heart goes out to the Japanese people who were hit the hardest in the recent event of quakes and tsunamis to occur in the Pacific. To people who have lost their loved ones, to people who still don't know the fate of their loved ones, to people who have been injured and to everyone who has been adversely affected by this disaster, my prayers and heartfelt thoughts go out to you.

This is a very harsh and cruel reminder of how tumultuous the world is today. Japan in all her preparedness has suffered the brunt of a devastating tsunami and the possibility of a nuclear disaster. I'm sure nobody could have predicted such devastating events, it just goes to show how fragile our lives really are. We think we are in control, but are we?

May the souls of the departed find eternal rest and may the mourners and victims of this terrible event find solace in such trying times. Amen.

This is one of the many reminders for us to be more appreciative of what we have, especially our loved ones.
