Downton Abbey

I can't believe Season 4 is over and all that's left is the Christmas special before I have to wait till next September for it. Gosh!

Feeling quite distressed over I don't know what.

Free Kuala Lumpur Tour!

I've used free tour services both in Ho Chi Minh city as well as Seoul and found them to be great opportunities to meet new friends as well as to gain new insights and best of all, learn a lot of secrets! Like when I was in HCMC, I was brought to this little restaurant that I so remember till now and the same goes for when I was in Seoul!

I'd like to offer my time to anyone looking for a free Kuala Lumpur tour as well, of course we'll have to discuss the details and see how I can fit you into my schedule and vice versa, but just to try this out, email me if interested or leave a message here

:) Looking forward to hearing from you!

Oh wow, I just cashed my first Nuffnang cheque which I think is a brilliant way to earn some extra money, of course I had to do it over a course of a few years but that's just money earned from nothing :D

I get a lot of hits with regards to my travels including Why France is so Awesome and 4D3N Seoul tips and tricks. Great idea, shall travel more. :D So keep looking people!

Itinerary for Seoul, 4D3N

And so I was tasked to plan our Seoul itinerary. It wasn't easy!!! :) That's one thing about travelling in a group that I don't really like and it's that you have to accommodate everybody's needs/wants etc. It's not an easy task, I am grateful though that the party I was travelling with wasn't as fussy.

Below's our itinerary should you wish to go to Seoul on 5 days and 4 nights, it's pretty cool! We managed to do most of the important sights, but more time could have not done us any harm.

Wondering how to create a 5D4N or 4D3N itinerary?? SIMPLE!! I only used Excel for my trip to Seoul :) I just plotted in what I wanted to do and a handy tip I learnt is to have the nearest metro stations listed just like what I did above :D This reduced a lot of headache where I had to look for the nearest metro to disembark from and did wonders for us. Doesnt help that most of us don't roam on data when travelling so we could not google much or use GPS. But my trip was AWESOME, I love Seoul as it is a very safe city that a lot of people can go to and feel very safe.

And so we went to Seoul to attend a dear friend's wedding. :) It was, to sum up in one word, AWESOME! To further describe Seoul, it was safe, it was clean, it was affordable, it was a great city! Efficient metros, immaculately dressed people, wonderful weather etc. I will need to find more time to blog about this :)

Life Changing

Someone changed my life on Friday, completely! How do we go on now?

Saturday, March 16, 2013

My idea of travelling is the ability to experience different cultures which I absolutely enjoy. I love seeing different types of people, living in different types of cities and doing the different things these different people do. For instance, when I went to France, it was an absolute joy to just walk around. Although we stayed in one of the shabby arrondisements with its dodgy alleys and dark pathways, it was nevertheless fun. I remember popping into a Chinese restaurant on one of these dark paths and having a really good dinner on our first day there. It was absolute joy to enjoy something so familiar in an unfamiliar place and setting.

Even going to Mcdonalds was so much fun. :)

I'm making it a point to fill my life with travels. I will not buy a house in my lifetime but instead spend that money putting it towards travelling and perhaps someday fulfilling the ultimate dream of retiring in a cozy quiet French town.
